Dispute Resolution Policy
Updated 2026-09-18
If something goes wrong with an order — damaged part, not as described, or didn't arrive — our dispute team helps. Here's how it works.
How to open a dispute
Within 14 days of receiving the order, go to "Orders" → select the order → "Open dispute". Pick a reason (fitment, damage, not as described, didn't arrive, other) and attach evidence.
Evidence requirements
Attach clear photos showing the problem. If the part doesn't fit, attach your VIN and show the mismatch clearly. The seller can add their own evidence. All evidence is timestamped and cannot be edited.
Seller response deadline
Once notified of a claim, the seller must provide a response and evidence within 5 business days. The platform administers the dispute and, before making any decision affecting seller earnings, gives the seller a reasonable opportunity to present explanations and evidence. (Seller Agreement, 7.2, 3.1.5)
Resolution timeline
We respond within 48 hours. Simple resolution — 3–5 business days. Complex cases (additional expertise required) — up to 14 business days. Funds stay in escrow throughout.
Possible outcomes
Full refund (refund_full); partial refund (refund_partial); claim dismissed (dismissed_buyer); resolved for seller (dismissed_seller); or the dispute is escalated for in-depth review. The decision automatically reflects in refunds and payouts.
Packaging and pre-dispatch evidence
Sellers must pack each part properly for transport and are liable for damage caused in transit by poor packaging or unclean parts (for example unwashed engines). Before dispatch the seller undertakes to photograph the condition of the part, so that any later damage by the buyer or the carrier can be assessed. (5.7, 7.6)
Who pays for return shipping
Return shipping costs are borne by the party at fault. Where fault is unclear, the platform may split or absorb the cost in order to resolve the matter. None of this limits the buyer's mandatory statutory rights or any warranty the seller gives directly. (7.4, 7.5)
Escalation
If you disagree with our decision, you can contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VTAS, www.vvtat.lt) or go to court. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr).
